Kultur: Songs, Scenes and Sunday School
cmichaelbailey.com
The only purpose for this web page cluttering the already clotted byway of the Internet is as a conduit to my writing outlets, such as they are.  I suspect that it is the greatest vanity to have one's own website, but in our increasingly atomized existence, it is inevitable.

I have written for All About Jazz since 1997.  The magazine has grown into fully formed enterprise under the tutelage of Publisher Michael Ricci and his able editors John Kelman, Chris Slawecki and  Chris May.  All About Jazz has become the preeminent website devoted to jazz music.

Less auspicious than All About Jazz is my blog, Kultur: Songs, Scenes and Sunday School.  While trying to stick to music writing, I sometimes veer into book and movie criticism and further into the netherworld of politics, religion, media, and popular culture.  Once there, it seems there is no going back.
